I recently went to Oslo. Ever been to Oslo?

You should go to Oslo. Here is a short recap of my trip to Tunet IBK and Oslo!

Norway is a country known for it's beautiful nature. It borders Sweden and is a mere 3 hour car drive away from Gothenburg where I currently live, still I had never properly visited there. Last weekend I got to go there and do a day of goalie training with the Oslo-located club, IBK Tunet. It turns out that Oslo is just as beautiful as people say it is. Even I, being a Swedish person was astonished with the nature of their capital city. I snuck out while the other goalies were having lunch to get a couple of pictures of the surroundings while the sun was still up. 

Unfortunate wiring poles, but the view is still amazing. This may seem like we are out in the wild, but it is actually very close to the city. There was a bigger road about two hundred meters from here and if you went along that road for about three minutes you would get to see adorable houses and scenery all the way, and then, out of nowhere a Porsche dealership would appear. Another two minutes from there was the beating heart of the city of Oslo.

These two next pictures are taken from the exact same spot. In the first picture you see huge, open football fields and park areas surrounded by lots of trees. Turn around, and...

... there is the capital...

...and here is what revealed itself when I went a little bit further down the slope. (Later the same day, unfortunately, the sun had set.)

I did also, as I mentioned, do some goalie training while I was there. Here are some of the pictures from the day I had with IBK Tunet! I was so excited when they contacted me and I was really eager to see it through.

One of the younger goalies, Adrian, practicing "the slide" which resulted in a crazy cool picture of him grabbing a shot out of the air.

This was also somewhat of a reunion for me and a couple of the goalies. We met earlier this summer, at Pixbo Star Camp. Christine, one of them, is seen here preparing for a shot. 

Probably the coolest mask I have ever seen on a goalkeeper of this age.

Me and "Chris" also met earlier this summer. You will have to watch out for this guy in the future! 

I had a total of 6 goalkeepers this time, ranging from the age of 10-15. Here are a couple of good pictures of them practicing movements, positioning and rebound control!

It also turned out that Christine was sporting my favorite gear underneath her club gear, so we had to get a picture!
